Photography
My parents bought me a disposable camera when I was in preschool, and I swiftly took to the idea of capturing and preserving a moment (even if the photos weren’t the best quality at that age). Eventually, I moved on to a small pink digital camera, which I still have to this day, and finally to a more traditional DSLR. Now, as a graduate student, I’m still shooting digital, but I am also going back to my analog roots, learning the ins and outs of the darkroom and relishing in the slow process of developing film by hand.
